Jennifer Perkins

Hello there! My name is Jennifer and I am the artist and owner of Petal Pioneer based in Mustang,  Oklahoma. I am a wife, mom of two, cat lover, and lover of all things art. My journey began with a fascination for paper flowers when we took a family vacation to Las Vegas, that is where I first laid my eyes on the most beautiful display. What then started as a love and appreciation for paper blooms then became my reality as I transitioned into becoming a stay at home mom. I wanted to do something not only for my family but for myself, and what better way to do so than the most absolute thing I loved the most - crafting.

 

In general, I am unfortunately not gifted with a green thumb. So making ones that last a lifetime was one of the best decisions I have ever made. At Petal Pioneer, we offer a little something for everyone, from artisan paper flowers to large standing backdrops and home decor for the art enthusiasts. As every artist and creative, I make things that I feel in the moment with. Things that connect me to that specific creation with an emotional meaning behind each masterpiece.

When I am not crafting in my little dining room station I am doing a number of many things. Being my husbands second shooter for his photography business is my most favorite. Other things I enjoy are keeping our home as tidy as I can, or deep diving my creative side into a fun hobby such as painting.
