“Where We Gather” was my entry for a group art show at DNA Galleries. The theme explored the question: What does community mean to me? As a nature-inspired artist, I wanted to capture the relationship between pollinators and the flowers within our ecosystem. Each plays an essential role, working together to sustain and support life. I chose the zinnia for its vibrancy and its ability to attract a variety of pollinators. Every bloom and pollinator was carefully sculpted from crepe paper and floral wire, bringing this colorful ecosystem to life.
